Why my mother should get me a smart phone before 6th grade

In a year I will be in 6th grade (where I live that is middle school/Junior high)

6th grade is when I go to school with more people, more responsibility, and more problems

problems I could message my mom for if I need help.

1- I will need to message my parents without a internet access

2- I will most likely be joining after school groups so again I may need to message my parents
